Polynucleotide Eye Rejuvenation

Polynucleotide is a well known skin rejuvenation treatment from South Korea that involves injecting polynucleotide (PN) into the skin dermis layer for skin repair and collagen building.

PN eye is designed for peri-orbital (around the eyes) skin rejuvenation.

How Does Polynucleotide Eye Work?

It contains highly purified long chain polynucleotides (PN) that has high water-binding capacity and viscoelasticity. Polynucleotide also has skin healing and anti-inflammatory function.

By injection PN into the skin around the eyes, it helps with skin repair, hydration, elasticity and anti-ageing.

Compared to the classic PN, PN eye is less viscous therefore is a safer and more suitable treatment around the eyes with thin skin.

What Are The Benefits of Polynucleotide eye treatment?

PN eye can improve eye area in several ways.

  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes
  • Improves skin hydration around the eyes
  • Helps with dark eye circles
  • Overall skin texture and skin tone improvement
  • Improves inflammatory skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema and acne
  • Improves skin sensitivity around the eyes

What Is The Procedure Like?

Numbing cream is applied on the treatment area prior to the treatment. PN is then injected into the skin around the eyes with really small needles or a flexible blunt needle.  With adequate numbing, procedure is usually very tolerable.

The recommended treatment regime is 3-4 treatments (each treatment is 2-4 weeks apart), followed by maintenance treatment once every 4-6 months.

Downtime and Safety

Swelling, redness, some skin lumpiness and potential bruising are expected immediately after PN treatment. These will subside within 2-3 days.

Safety of PN treatment is well established. It has been widely performed around the world.
