What is Radio Frequency (RF) Microneedling?
Radio Frequency Microneedling treatment or 黄金微针, is a treatment that uses a combination of continuous wave and pulsed wave for the treatment of multiple skin conditions.

How does it work?
RF Microneedling devices deliver controlled and efficient RF energy into your skin via very small needles.
Micro needles penetrate the skin in a well controlled manner, producing micro injuries to the skin that stimulate collagen regeneration and natural wound healing while breaking down scar and fibrous tissues at the same time.
Radio Frequency (RF) energy is delivered via these micro needles, generating heat in the skin at 40-60°C resulting in coagulation, skin contraction and collagen production.

How many sessions do I need?

Depending on individual skin conditions, most patients will require 3 to 6 sessions for optimal outcome. Treatment interval is approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Each treatment session is about 30 minutes.
What is downtime like?
Mild skin redness and swelling is expected immediately after RF Microneedling treatment, which typically subsides within a few hours.
For melasma treatment, the pigmentation will initially look slightly darker and reddish which will fade within 1-2 weeks.
For scars and skin tightening treatment, skin redness and swelling could take about 1-2 days to resolve.
Is it painful?
It is a very tolerable procedure. Numbing cream will be applied prior to treatment to minimize discomfort. Most patients experience minimal to no pain. There may be mild tingling and pressure sensation from the treatment.
